A Day in My Life

Time flies so fast, it seems like it was just days ago when I posted Kro’s 3rd bday, now he’s a year older.

Our celebration was just a simple one, no parties not even a cake, we went for a swimming instead, this is his first bday without the other one close to him. So we had to make it happy for him. We went to Veninna Resort, located in Amadeo, Cavite.

Veninna used to be one of our favorite places to go for a swimming, because I like the way how they did the place with one huge pool, 2 small pools and the other small one with a slide, when we got there those 2 pools were already closed, so we used the huge one, they made another one though, for kids, but its not something you can call great.

Entrance adult/kids – Php 100.00
Cottage – Php 500.00 up

Try to haggle for the price … lol.. you may get a discount, I did ^_^.

I was disappointed when we got there, it’s not the same as it used to be. Before it was well taken care of, now it’s not just the same anymore. My daughter mentioned she heard that this place has a new owner, so that is why.

One of the things I like here is there are lots of trees, flowers, there was even a place here where they have butterflies aviary(?), now there’s no more.  Still lots of trees and flowers though.

I also like the huge pool here, where there’s a place for little ones like mine, they can walk and just do about anything without adults worrying too much that they’ll get drowned, but of course they still need to be watched, so you just sit there where there’s shade and watch little ones play, swim and just have fun.

The water they use for the pools came from the mountains, spring water they say, its cold really cold… Good for swimming on very hot days.  But as you can see the water is color green, maybe they need to add more chlorine here, smells chlorine though.

So the bday went well, Kro enjoyed swimming and so does my other 2 kids. I just bought lunch, not too much food since it was just the four of us.  They played till almost 5.00 pm.
