Something to always do before having meals…

This may look funny, but something to make us think.

Pray before meals

Hubby took the photo :D. While I was busy preparing dinner lol.  Well it looked funny to me, but this is something we must do right?  Pray and thank God for the blessings, food on our table every single day, every meal, that we don’t go hungry, that He always provide and take care of our needs.

For the recipe and how to do this very simple sushi, you can check my food blog here -> Not Just Our Daily Bread.

Hope

Meet Hope…

Hyundai Elantra Wagon

Hubby named our car “Hope” :), that’s her above.  She is a Christmas gift, we’ve been praying for her.

While taking the photos, hubby and little kichiro was goofing at the back of the car lol.  It took us more than 2 years to have another car, well it’s not brand new but the car was really good, it’s fresh in and out, engine was good too.  I have been praying that God will provide us the money to buy a car that we can use as we badly need one now especially with the biz picking up and we always  have client meetups.  I was specific, I prayed before the year (2013) ended, we bought her mid December.

Hyundai Elantra Wagon

Fully automatic, and hubby had added a bunch of other stuff into it, I fell in love with her when I saw her in an ad, just the right price in budget, and when we brought her home I spent a few hours inside, poking here and there and just sitting inside thanking God for it, I prayed for a really good car in and out, with no engine trouble so there will be no expenses on mechanic fees, parts, etc, including the headaches that goes with car with engine troubles.  She’s been with us for more than 2 months now and so far she’s good :).

Recently added, keyless entry, a back-up (rear) camera, a blue tooth for hands free on phone use, tires (I wanted us to be safe so had to buy good ones), voltmeter, deep cycle battery and bunch of accessories..  And since hubby is a gadget kind of guy, I’m sure there will be more to come lol.

We’re also planning on putting hubby’s HHO device on her, just like our other car before, it was water powered.. awesome right?  We saved a lot on gas with that on our car.  Will have a post on it when it is already installed.

The troubled years were over, we’ve passed through it (thank God), and we are trusting God for his promises to be fulfilled in our lives.

She’s a reminder…

HOPE…

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Sumo

We all miss him :(..

Little Kichiro and Sumo

The photo above was taken when Kichiro and Sumo were 1 year olds, Sumo was a few months older than Kichiro.

Then after 2 years we had another labrador, a female named Peewee.  After years of taking care of them we decided to look for a new owner :(, our space was not big enough for Sumo already, so it’s time to let go, it had been a painful separation but it was the best thing for all of us.

We still get to visit him once in a while in his new owner’s place.  If by God’s will we get to have a new place where there is a big backyard, we will get Sumo and Peewee back even if we have to buy them to their new owners :).

Back to blogging

After 2 long years of not blogging I am finally up to it again.

It has been a long time and I really missed writing here, but things happened and so life online was limited for a while and the desire to write was gone.

I am looking at my blog right now and realized July 2011 was the last post made, and looking inside my admin area, there were a bunch of drafts that I haven’t finished.. Oh well.. Will go through each one to see if I can still do something about them if not they will all go to waste :(.

Well, things are exciting and I have so many things to write now so this blog will be back to the way it was before..

Need to keep with the rankings again.. whew that one will take a whole lot of work.

More posts to come, please visit my site again…

Our Easter Sunday

Went to church this morning with2 of my kids, eldest and youngest, my second child was at his aunt’s house (she took him with her without my permission), which made me a lil bit uneasy as I am teaching my kids now the habit of going to church regularly, and reading the Bible.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. ~Proverbs 22:6

Anyway, it’s not what this post is all about.

So we went to church, celebrating and remembering the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.A victoriousday where our Lord has defeated death.

At the church there were 2 big projectors and before the service started the music ministry sang a worship song and the passion of the Christ movie where played, the part where Jesus was nailed on the cross. Being deaf that I am, I did not know what song was being sung so my eyes was at the projector, I held back my tears and stopped watching, It crossed my mind, seeing my Lord’s blood all over his face and his body this is how He suffered just to save me, this is how much pain he endured so I can have eternal life with him. I remembered a friend told me once, during my worst trial, she said the pain I am feeling is not even 1/4th of what Jesus had… so true.

All that we’ve been through and what we are going to go through will never ever be compared to what Jesus has suffered for us.

Watching the part where the nail was being hammered, driven through his hands, I flinched, remembering how scared I am of needles, up to now I even shed tears when I get injection, how much more with that thick nail hammered through his hands, how painful could that be? I fought tears again, when I glanced at my left side, I saw the old lady beside me crying.

I felt too little in God’s grace, and humbled. God’s grace and love for humankind is so big and great, this is what Jesus did so we can have forgiveness for our sins.

And Jesus said…
… he that taketh not his cross and followeth after me is not worthy of me. ~Matthew 10:38

Jesus is alive! His death and resurrection is our hope that we will have eternal life with Him, that we can reach God the Father through Him.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ~John 3:15

====================

Jesus Is Alive

Hallelujah Jesus is alive
Death has lost its victory
And the grave has been denied
Jesus lives forever
He’s alive, He’s alive

He’s the alpha and omega
the first and last is He
the course of sin is broken
and we are perfect liberty
the Lamb of god has risen
He’s alive, He’s alive

Hallelujah,Jesus is alive

====================

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16
